The key to successfully utilizing your social media outlets is to be a PERSON, not a real estate agent. You need to ENGAGE your audience and you don’t want to isolate people who are not currently in the market for a house by inundating them with every listing you get. They get it, you are a Realtor, you have happy, shiny houses you want to peddle. But they will shut you down if that is all you are giving them. Talk about anything and everything else you know about. Engage them in a way THEY find meaningful. The goal is to get them to remember you, which they won’t do if they hide your content from their walls or unfollow you because their news feed looks like the daily.
