///This guy closed 1,200+ transactions in 2010!
How many did you close? You can watch the short interview with him but the take away is this: HUSTLE. Do whatever you can, wherever you can to market your listings.
Below is a link to the article and video on Inman Next Agent:
*Side note: Apparently most of his listings are HUD homes so no, he is not winning, marketing, and selling 1200+ standard homes from single unique clients. However, he has found a niche area that he is good at, and found a way and worked hard to develop and excel in this niche market.
///A healthy perspective on social media perhaps?
We are social creatures. And real estate is all about networking, so of course it makes sense to use social media for social creatures to network in the modern world. But this article makes some great points. First off, recognizing the need to pin point what is important to you and define what you want to get out of it. If you don’t know these basic things there is no way for you to properly utilize ANY tool let alone social media outlets. Secondly, we are always connected: technology, smart phones, email, etcetera, etcetera. But who are you most connected to? Why is that? My guess is you are most connected to the real people in your real life. How do you make that connection in your real estate life?
///Bottom line. At this stage in the game you should know what you want. And hopefully what your clients want or at least have an idea of how to figure that out. But what some may be lacking is the knowledge that you have to try harder now, more than ever. That some one your old tricks might not be working and you need to get a new box of trick. Or at least trade some in. Stagnation gives way to nothing. That’s the point. Progress is an ever changing ability to move forward. What are you NOT doing that someone else IS doing? What are you doing that is working for you, and how can you expand on that?
